Save it till tomorrow

And wait until its done

The changes of the season

One day up

And one day down. 

We are only waiting

And we are only one

The few in the hourglass

Passing through

One at a time. 

I wasted my time

And I was wasted away

Numbing myself

Against tomorrow

The mundane

And the dumb. 

The debris is swept away

And almost nothing remains

Wiped away with the tide

And ground into sand.

I sat through

The endless hours

And listened to the words

A gigantic mountain of effort

That meant nothing at all. 

We bided our time

Until there was nothing left

Wiser but empty

Smarter versions

Of dumb.

Inclusive and open minded

They stretch out our necks

Fools until the end

Cut off and dead.

See how they laugh

And see how they hate

Seething at the good

Just because

We breathe.

Make no mistake

And keep your eyes open

Laughing at the dead

And biting at our heels. 

Lord come quickly

And crush this evil men

Burning them off

And cutting them down.
