Treasury

Treasury               8/30/2018

There is no greater treasure
Than the human heart
The only thing you ever keep
By giving it away.

A river we cross
By choice
Rather than a feeling
That we follow.

A gift from God
That only grows with risk
More valuable with time
And weathered patina.

A decision
We have made
With wisdom and perspective
Long awaited
Through storm and strife.

Always understood
And always forgiven
The priceless treasure
Hidden in the mud.

Wasted on the world
Full of avarice and grasping
Debt slaves to a promise
Always elusive
And dangled in our eyes.

Guard it
Even as you share it
A gift of great value
Uncorrupted and pure.

For from the heart
All good flows outward
And endless river
Cold, clear, and clean..

Lock it away
Lest it be corrupted
A refuge in the storm
And a tower
In trial.

This world
Takes everything
But in the end
The heart matters more.

Strengthened by hardship
And burnished with patience
The long awaited grace
Full and beautiful.

For the road
Of Least resistance
Surely leads to death
But a persistent climb
Provides contented peace.

So share it wisely
And let it not be wasted
Even when it hurts
And even when you lose.

Deep inside
And perfectly milled
The everlasting self
Perfect, immortal, and free.

Hellbent

Hellbent                      8/28/2018

Some have tried reason
But reasoning only works
With the good
And the reasonable.

And some have argued
For decades on end
All of it wasted
On the demented
And the dumb.

God sees you lying
And he also sees
You laughing
Those who belittle the dead
And the savagely murdered.

In a world of words
One man is a lightning rod
All because he told the truth
And dared to question.

But it is not him
Who they hate
For it is, what he defends
That they loathe.

Burning inside out
With jealous rage
They hate the innocent
And the good.

Ugly on the inside
And ugly on the outside
They hate beauty
And grace.

There are no need for words
When we meet
For we all know well
The who, what, and why.

Everything already said
And everything already tried
We stand at the ready
Eyes wide open.

It did not happen overnight
As we were all taught
To control our emotions
The long and winding path
Through memory and tears.

There is nothing like reality
And there is nothing like the truth
Played out every day
Beyond the control
Of liars.

They can talk all day
And make their assertions
But words are not actions
And the world
Speaks for itself.

In countless interactions
And in numberless occasions
We who are aware
Saw everything
We need to know.

The mockers
Have had their say
And the parasitic elite
Well they have had
Their centuries.

Long ago usurping
Every institution
No matter how noble
And inspired.

The future is here
And you can watch it
On another continent
Democratic theft
Legalized disarmament
Murder and death.

Woe to him
Who laughs
And dances
Their time almost up
Revelation now
Generation zero.

Seasonings

Seasonings                                                8/23/2018

Some days are enough
To break your heart
The senseless stupidity of fools
And talking heads.

Endlessly speculating
And endlessly spewing
Nothing but lies
And putrid propaganda.

Of what price fame
And piles of money?
To lie and slander
Twist and accuse.

As if they believe
That what is omitted
Never happened
The daily carnage
Everywhere you look.

Ambitious, empty
Amoral and evil
Anything for power
And privilege.

Above the law
That they use against others
Shamelessly accusing
The innocent and good.

They have murdered many
And they drink the blood of youth
More evil than we guess
And rotten to the core.

Everything you see
Is exactly as planned
The disenfranchisement of millions
In sick and twisted hands.

It is not an accident
That the world is what it is
Long ago corrupted
By murder and deceit.

The few over the many
Controlling all the money
And monopolizing the news
Laughing the debt slaves
But you and me.

Kept in a cage
From cradle to grave
In debt to the banksters
And led by the nose.

The light of the world
Like a light bulb in the darkness
Attracting insects from afar
And blotting out the sun.

See them now
By foot, plane, and boat
Clamoring over each other
To rape, pillage, and steal.

Jumping over fences
And running up the beaches
An invasion of hordes
To destroy and kill.

Woe to them
Who have traded it away
Light for darkness
And good for evil.
